Co-op tactics that follow from the rules

  • Split the door budget. Doors open for all, so one player funding a door helps everyone. Coordinate who pays.
  • Split roles on a fresh map. One scout hunts the red power lamp and the violet Ascension lamp while the others hold the spawn.
  • Diversify Ascension. Ascension and drafts are personal — build different weapons for crowd clearing and single-target damage.
  • Revive before you buy. A dead teammate is a lost gun on the line.

Split-screen, crossplay & platforms

  • Split-screen / couch co-op: requested by players, not announced. Not announced
  • Platforms: Mortuus is a single Steam app for Windows, macOS and Linux with full controller support. Official No console versions have been announced; see Platforms.
